About LittleTalk
Small stories from a real business that you can actually use. Written by Nes, owner of an export garment factory in Bangkok.
Hi, I'm Nes.
I run Thumbinthai, a garment factory in Bangkok that makes clothing for brands in the US, UK, Europe, Australia, Japan and Singapore. I started the business in 2013 by saying yes to an order before I even had a factory.
LittleTalk is where I write down what I'm learning while running it. Not the highlight reel. The real experiments: what we tried, what worked, what broke, and what I got wrong.
What I write about
- AI in real work. How we use AI to help our team move faster and more accurately, from ad reports to fabric stock and production planning. AI helps people. It doesn't replace them.
- Exporting isn't as hard as it looks. What I've learned selling to buyers around the world.
- Managing people, and my own mistakes. Growing a team from 10 to 100, and the decisions I'd make differently.
Every piece ends with something you can try in your own business, usually within a day.
